Jesus

You can have your sins forgiven, have a personal relationship with God, and know that you will spend eternity in Heaven.

First, realize that God loves you.

John 3:16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In the Bible we learn that God loves everyone regardless of their background, race, age or any other factor. God loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

Second, realize that everyone is a sinner.

Romans 3:23   For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

No one is perfect therefore no one is without sin. We have all broken God’s commandments. This is called sin. The Bible says that this separates us from God.

Isaiah 59:1 -2   Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Third, realize that sin has a price that must be paid.

Romans 6:23   For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The wages or payment for sin is death. This includes eternal separation from God in a place called hell.

Fourth, realize that Jesus Christ died to pay your price.

Romans 5:8   But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus died on the cross, not for His sins, but for the sins of the whole world. He paid our payment, and made a way for our relationship with God to be restored.

Finally, all you have to do is accept God’s free gift of salvation by faith.

Romans 10:9   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

John 11:25   Jesus said… I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Romans 10:13   For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you would like to begin a relationship with Jesus, you can, right where you are. All it takes is a simple prayer, asking God to forgive your sins and be your Savior.

Sample Prayer: “Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sin. I place my faith in You alone as my Savior. Thank You for paying for my sins on the cross.”

If you just prayed that prayer, and you are now trusting Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, then let us be the first to welcome you into the family of God!
